Ankara Chic

I love African Prints and finally Was Able To Wear My Skirt ,Celebrating Ms.Doctor Aka My Sisters Birthday! So Busy At NYU, Glad She Was Able To Celebrate Her Special Day With Friends and Family. My Skirt Was Made In Ghana And The Designs Are So Intricate. I Paired It With a Coral Crop Top  And Accessorized With a Gem Necklace To Compliment The Pattern Of My Skirt. Each Design Sewn Is Made From Different Material. This Can Be Worn On The Waist Or As a High Waist. I Can Pretty Much Wear Any Colored Top Which Really Brings Out The Diversity Of This Skirt. I'll Be Sure To Post More Ankara And Other African Printed Designs. The Beauty of Bringing Designs To Life Truly Displays The Creativity Of Your Vision.

My SuperPower

Come On Ladies. Admit It. Every Woman's SuperPower Is S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G! A Smart Shopper Is The Best Shopper. I Buy What I like, But I think It's Very Important To Know That You Do Not Have To Spend A Million Bucks In Order To Look Like a Million Bucks. When You Have a Sense Of Style,A Price Tag Doesn't Mean Anything. I am Able to Look At Many Women and Men's  Outfits and Automatically Know Where It's From or Where They Shop.I Don't Know If That's Because I Love Fashion,But My Family and Friends Think It's Pretty Interesting. With Fashion Being So Diverse,I Think It's Pretty Fun and Many People Often Ask My Advice On Where To Shop. Do You Share My Superpower?Have a Good Evening Dolls

Who Loves Weddings? I Do!

I attended a beautiful Ghanaian wedding and decided to pull out my African Attire! My Auntie Dinah designed this dress for me in Ghana and I absolutely love it! The bustier section is traditional Kente which added more detail to my outfit. Unfortunately the bride didn't throw her bouquet so I wasn't able to fight for it..lol Love is Beautiful and it is always a blessing to see two people make such an important commitment to each other! I have more African prints in my closet so I hope to bring them out and share them with you :-).

Simplicity

A Smile is a Universal Language That We All Understand. The Smile Behind Every Individual Tells So Many Stories. Life Isn't Easy, But I Have Been Blessed To Still Be Alive And Make a Difference In This World. Here I am Dressed In An All Black Detachable Button Dress and Color Block Peep-Toe Heels. Styled My Twists in a High Bun and Added Some Mac Ruby Woo For My Lips.

Aztec Splash

I Attended An African Party Of a Family Friend. I Love Prints And Felt This Particular Skirt Would Make The Outfit Pop Without It Looking Over Done. Coincidentally, I Had a Necklace That Matched This Skirt Perfectly! Had So Much Fun!

My cousin, Rose Afriyie, was one of the finalists and I enjoyed the entire event.I worked as her activities coordinator, elevating her social network media and her mobile technology platform. My cousin won The Peoples Choice Award as well as discount trip for Ghana as the 2nd Runner Up :-). Enjoyed the fashion and creativity that all the contestants brought to represent Ghana :-).

Tangerine Crush

Black and White Has Been Quite A Popular Trend And I've Had Fun Mixing And Matching! Here Is One Way I Styled My Outfit Before Heading Out To Dinner. Don't Limit Yourself! Add A Pop of Color :-)

Snake Skin Fever

Hey Blognistas,

I enjoy wearing jumpsuits . The versatility and how comfortable the fitting is makes me feel good. I only wear jumpsuits with elastane because that is the only way I can actually sit down or walk around :-). Bold colors and prints work best, but just be careful in contrasting vs matching.

All You Need Is....

Chicken and Waffles

Good Afternoon. Productive Morning Workout Does The Body Good. After an Intense Workout, it is essential to have some breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. What makes cooking fun is the ability to be creative while still being able to taste flavor. I enjoy French toast, pancakes, or waffles. Pancakes seem like the most time consuming especially when you want them to be nice and fluffy. Homemade waffles can taste quite good if you have an effective waffle maker. My usual breakfast would be eggs, waffles, sausage, and waffles. When I'm in the mood for a more fulfilling brunch to tingle my stomach, I go for something different. Chicken and Waffles! YUM. Who Wants Some?

I'm Back! Thought I Would Update My Page By Starting With How I Brought In The New Year. Celebrated My Birthday 1/4/13. A Blessing To Turn Another Year! Enjoyed My Birthday Dinner With Loved Ones. Thai Food Spot In Downtown Was Delicious. My Dress Was Also Quite Tasteful As Well. Funny Enough, Kelly Roland's Grammy Dress Was Quite Similar To Mine. Others Say She May Have Gotten Her Idea From Me. Haha
